Meet Mieke de Rooij

I am a business and leadership coach with over 25 years of international experience in innovation, transformation, and change leadership across Europe and Asia. I’ve helped organizations invent, launch, and scale new ideas and guided people through the human side of that change.

Over the years, I learned that strategy and structure only succeed when people feel confident, connected, and empowered. That’s why I founded EMGEA Coaching: a premium coaching practice guiding professionals and leaders through moments of transition - whether that’s stepping into new leadership roles, setting up new businesses, or reinventing their path after corporate life.

What makes my coaching different is how I combine creative thinking with practical action. I draw on a Master’s in Creativity & Change Leadership and deep corporate experience leading transformation programs in multicultural environments (SAP, IBM, and start-up ventures across Europe and Asia).

As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, I provide a proven methodology to identify and maximize individual potential. I bring empathy with structure, energy with focus, and future-oriented clarity to every session.
